Bill was born in Providence, RI and has been a resident of Pensacola since 1982. Bill retired after 30 years of faithful service in the United States Navy. A well-respected Mustang or a "Sailor's he enlisted at the age of 17.

He was promoted to Chief Petty Officer before being selected as a Chief Warrant Officer, and ultimately retired as a Lieutenant Commander in of 1994. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, he held full-time jobs at Sears and Home Depot while enjoying time to pursue his hobbies, which included woodworking, golf, gardening, leisurely afternoons in his pool and his fervor for strategicaction video games. His passion and devotion to his family and cooking was unparalleled. Not a day went by when he didn't call someone he knew to share a newly discovered recipe that he had somehow "tweaked" just right.

He touched the lives of all who knew him with his wit and common sense approach to life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Sweets" Ice Cream Parlor and Eatery in the 80's 90's. She was born in New York City in 1922 to Jason and Anna Frangoulis.

Her parents moved to Greece when she was an infant and didn't return to the states until she was nineteen. Faye was a lady of strong faith which she practiced as a member of the Perdido Bay United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she was an active and outgoing individual who always looked for the good in people and found it wherever she looked. She had a genuine concern for others and made life-long friends easily. She loved to travel; music; loved to dance; loved to laugh; and would talk about anything.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Harry Evans; brothers, Everett, Wayne and Charles Evans. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John R. Rodgers, Sr. (Pensacola, FL); her sons, John R. Rodgers, Jr.
